PLAYCE, A Space Where Performance, Learning, and Social Connection Intersect.
PLAYCE is a system designed to create better games. By helping players understand their performance and connect with the right people, it turns racket sports into more balanced, enjoyable, and socially driven experiences.
The system combines a racket-mounted sensor, an aerial camera, and a mobile application to capture both individual performance and overall gameplay. This allows players to receive clear, accessible feedback without relying on formal coaching, while also making it easier to find others at a similar skill level.
By addressing common barriers such as skill mismatches, lack of feedback and social hesitation, PLAYCE encourages more confident participation and supports the growth of stronger, more inclusive sports communities.
At the centre is the PLAYCE app, which collects and translates data into clear insights, allowing users to review matches, track their progress and find players of similar skill levels.
Supporting this is PLAYCE Core, a racket-mounted band that captures detailed player movements such as swing rhythm and tempo, offering immediate and personalised feedback for self-improvement.
Complementing both is PLAYCE Air, a compact cylindrical drone that records the game from above, tracking ball movement, player positioning and overall rally flow to provide a complete view of the match and enhance performance analysis.
