About

Calvino loves to explore different people's worlds through design, designing through everyday curiosity and inspired by their perspectives, stories and challenges.

Product Video

In a world of frictionless, digitally flat interactions, everyday life has become efficient but emotionally empty.

nollo pushes back against that. A collection of three desk objects inspired by the Southeast Asian childhood toys of chapteh, yo-yo and five stones, it introduces playful tactile interactions into everyday desk objects.

Designed for the transitional pauses between tasks, each object gives people something physical and restorative to reach for instead of screens.

From left to right: a yo-yo-inspired tape dispenser, a five stones inspired stationery holder, and a chapteh-inspired sticky note holder—each designed to be played with, just like the games that inspired them.
