About

Eqa'Umyrah draws inspiration from random late-night discoveries, music on repeat, fashion campaigns, internet culture and the endless collection of screenshots she keeps telling herself she will organise someday.

She is drawn to design that feels playful yet intentional — visuals with personality, emotion and enough presence to make someone pause mid-scroll. She enjoys balancing clean aesthetics with strong concepts and thoughtful details that make her work feel more human, memorable and a little unexpected.

Running mostly on caffeine and creative instinct, she enjoys transforming ideas into visuals that feel expressive, immersive and dramatic in the best way possible. She is especially interested in branding and visual storytelling, creating work that does not take itself too seriously while still communicating something meaningful.

Outside of design, she has recently been exploring video editing and motion graphics as a creative outlet, experimenting with movement and pacing to bring more depth, energy and emotion into her visuals.

MEOW-LLO

MEOW-LLO is a conscious cat-care brand for Gen Z owners who love their cats deeply but feel overwhelmed by endless online advice and bad news.

Reframing pet care as a relationship rather than a responsibility, it transforms daily routines into small rituals of attention, trust and joy. The name blends 'meow' and 'hello', capturing the familiar exchanges between cat and human.

Warm, playful and internet-native, MEOW-LLO uses meme-led communication, friendly reminders and organised care systems to make responsible ownership feel clear, approachable and emotionally rewarding, helping owners care more consciously every day.

President Illustration

During her internship, Eqa'Umyrah designed an illustration with a strong awareness of context and tone appropriate for a formal audience.

The artwork was later signed by the President, transforming it into an official commemorative piece, allowing it to be auctioned for a charity organisation.

JustEat.

JustEat. is a conceptual app project created as an experimental exercise during Year 2. The project explored interface design, branding and user experience in a playful and unrestricted way, experimenting with layouts, interactions and visual identity without the constraints of a real client brief.

Designed entirely in Figma, the project focused on creating a clean and engaging user experience while balancing functionality with strong visual direction. The process involved exploring typography, colour hierarchy, user flow and component consistency, while also experimenting with ways to make the interface feel more dynamic and visually memorable.

Overall, JustEat. served as an opportunity to refine the design process and explore how branding and user interface design can come together to create an experience that feels both intuitive and expressive.
