About
A multidisciplinary graphic designer with a strong focus on illustration and editorial design, Joyce brings ideas to life through thoughtful visual storytelling and refined craft.
With a keen eye for composition, typography and narrative, her work bridges the gap between concept and communication, creating designs that are both visually striking and intellectually engaging.
Specialising in editorial layouts, Joyce has developed a distinctive approach to combining illustration with structured design systems, resulting in cohesive and immersive reading experiences. Whether working on magazines, books or digital publications, she prioritises clarity, rhythm and visual hierarchy while injecting personality through custom illustrations and expressive details.
Driven by curiosity and a deep appreciation for storytelling, Joyce approaches each project as an opportunity to explore new visual languages and push creative boundaries. She is equally comfortable working independently or as part of a collaborative team, bringing strong conceptual thinking and attention to detail to every stage of the design process.
Ultimately, her work is defined by a balance of creativity and purpose, design that not only looks compelling but also communicates meaningfully with its audience.
Spiritual Encounters is a contemporary blind box collectible that reinterprets Buddhist and Taoist values for modern audiences.
Traditional concepts such as karma, luck, balance and protection are translated into expressive character designs that resonate emotionally with younger consumers. Each figure embodies a specific value and includes a short narrative that connects ancient philosophy to everyday experiences.
The blind box format mirrors ideas of fate and chance, transforming the act of collecting into a reflective and meaningful ritual. By blending cultural symbolism with contemporary collectible culture, the project reframes heritage as adaptable and relevant, encouraging reflection, engagement and renewed cultural connection.
