Jie Yee is passionate about both traditional and digital art forms in her art practice. Her work explores themes of her relationships with animals and human emotions. It is a language rooted in empathy, respect and a rigorous investigation seeking a meaningful art connection with her audiences.
Outside of her fine arts practice, Jie Yee is the founder of LILJOYEEE, which sells unique stickers and prints of her original paintings. Her versatile body of work extends to graphic design and community mural projects, reflecting a commitment to fostering a vibrant, interconnected regional arts ecosystem.
Jie Yee is the recipient of the NAC Arts Scholarship and the Sterling Award for Art.

These shoes reflect the absence and presence of time, depicting a dream discovered after the professional window closed long ago.
