Mingbai is a storytelling platform and campaign exploring moments of partial understanding across languages, cultures and identities.

The project includes posters, a mobile-first website, social media content, story cards and a printed zine. Together, these touchpoints collect and share stories of misunderstanding, translation gaps and emotional ambiguity.

Designed for bilingual individuals, second-language speakers and those living between cultures, Mingbai invites reflection on the complexities of communication. By transforming private moments into shared narratives, the project creates space for empathy, recognition and participation.

SVAN is a visual identity developed for the Singapore Botanic Gardens, exploring how individual natural forms come together to create larger systems.

Derived from the form of a swan, each unit operates as a recognisable element on its own, but transforms into a floral structure when repeated.

This reflects the Gardens as a living ecosystem, where diverse elements coexist, overlap and collectively shape a unified natural experience.

Reading in Rhythm is a campaign that introduces a digital book where typography shapes rhythm, pacing and emotion in reading.

Drawing from stories adapted into musicals, it connects literature with performance, using printed tickets and playbills as entry points. Inspired by musical notation, the project reimagines text through spacing, scale and positioning to create expressive pacing on the page.

Typography becomes a tool to communicate tone, tempo and performance beyond static words. Through a scannable QR code leading to the digital book, Reading in Rhythm invites audiences to experience literature not just as text, but as a visual and rhythmic performance.
