Minchae Kim
About
Minchae does not answer familiar questions in familiar ways.
Driven by a relentless curiosity for how people experience, inhabit, sense and form attachment to space, she has developed an experimental and often unpredictable design language.
Minchae is more interested in inventing experiences than merely shaping form. She continually questions how space can provoke curiosity, invite participation and create deeper engagement.
Her work approaches interior and architecture as a form of spatial experimentation.
Set within Bras Basah Complex, this co-working environment is designed with subtle neuro-inclusive principles, quietly supporting young adults with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) through varied work settings and intentional moments of pause—cafés, stretch zones, light kitchens and informal social pockets.
Layered floor levels define spatial rhythm, while commercial collaborations with the building’s existing craft and book stores enrich focus, ease task initiation and create a balanced sensory experience.
