The Adaptive Grid
The project envisions a hybrid workshop and dining environment articulated through a rigorous grid system that organises functions, circulation and user experience with clarity and precision.
The grid defines spatial zoning, where smaller modules form focused workshop areas, while larger modules cultivate open, sociable dining spaces. A hierarchical flow facilitates seamless transitions between work and leisure.
Key elements—stairs, workbenches and seating—align with the grid, reinforcing spatial coherence and operational efficiency. Industrial materials and exposed structures articulate the conceptual framework, resulting in a functional, adaptable and interactive environment that supports creation and communal engagement.
