About

As an adaptive and purpose-driven graphic designer, Scot's greatest strength lies is his ability to move fluidly between diverse art directions, ranging from minimalist elegance to bold, aggressive and attention-grabbing aesthetics.

His design philosophy is rooted in the belief that strong work is born from the intersection of experimentation and collaboration. Scot does not just create visuals—he is driven by the goal of building purposeful experiences that consider the emotional impact on the end-user. His technical toolkit—spanning Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom and After Effects—is secondary to his primary goal of translating a client’s unique DNA into a polished visual story.

He thrives in high-energy environments where communication is key, a mindset sharpened through a lifelong passion for team sports such as frisbee and badminton. These pursuits have taught him how to stay agile, think fast under pressure and maintain a team-first attitude in every project.

Scot takes prides in growing as a designer who values feedback and is not afraid to push the boundaries of typography and layout to solve problems. Whether executing high-stakes branding or experimenting with raw, gritty compositions, he remains focused on how his work affects others and improves the human experience through design.

THE REAL DEAL

Image

Bold. Aggressive. Unapologetic.

The Real Deal is a radical alternative to fast-food establishments, functioning as a physical industrial audit that exposes hidden chemical "sludge" through a commitment to total transparency and high-performance baked goods.

The project engineers nutrient-dense, air-fried alternatives—replacing industrial seed oils with cold-pressed EVOO—using an aggressive visual language of hazard stripes and technical stamps to prove that 'illegal' flavour does not require toxic additives.

Scot believes in weaponising information to protect public health, aiming to disrupt the status quo by replacing deceptive marketing with documented facts and empowering consumers to choose metabolically superior, uncontaminated fuel made for humans—not for profit.

His mission is to reclaim vitality from an industry designed to keep us addicted and sick, proving that when the truth is exposed, there is only one Real Deal.

The M SS NG Archive

The M SS NG Archive explainer video

Women’s health content online keeps disappearing without a trace. Turning absence into evidence, M SS NG is a play on the words “Miss” and "Missing", bringing women and the information lost about them into view.

The campaign gives absence a visual voice: X. Each X represents a suppressed post and together, they reveal a system. The M SS NG Archive is where contents are secured from suppression. Posts tagged #MSArchive are automatically documented into a growing public dataset, functioning as an accessible health resource and as living evidence of systemic bias. When absence can be seen and counted, what will we finally refuse to ignore?

The M SS NG Archive reframes absence as evidence. By collectivising individual experiences of censorship, the campaign transforms what platforms dismiss as minor moderation decisions into an undeniable, documented pattern of systemic bias. In addition to being a tool for the championed cause, emphasis is placed on individuals impacted by suppression—especially the generation of young women developing their own bodily awareness and autonomy.

This project provides a platform to not only women's rights organisations and social campaigns, but also the everyday woman to understand that she is not alone.

M SS NG is the first step to real change — to make suppression undeniable.

The Big Road

Jalan Besar Explainer Video

The Living Map of Jalan Besar is an interactive digital portal that transforms the district’s 'Big Road' history from a static map into a multisensory journey of discovery.

By bridging the gap between its swampy plantation origins and its vibrant architectural future, Scot's team crafted a visual storytelling experience that spotlights eight iconic sites. This project moves beyond mere navigation to amplify the unseen layers of the district, embedding missing narratives of local craftspeople and residents into an identity-driven design.

Through the integration of rich copywriting and media, these historic spaces are reimagined as sustainable touchpoints that inspire curiosity and a sense of belonging, ensuring that the legacy of the late-19th and early-20th-century craftsmanship remains a living, breathing part of Singapore’s urban future.
