Tents from Nature, for Us.

HULS (Human Life System) is a speculative biomaterial tent system inspired by the basking behaviour and natural scutes of Shi Qing's pet terrapin.

Designed for the homeless, the tent uses organic, nature-made materials to create a cooling living space that restores safety and dignity.

This project merges material innovation with human‑centric impact, positioning HULS as a visionary yet socially grounded system that reimagines how design can support the less privileged.
