Victoria Goh Ru Hui
About
Victoria is a Diploma in Interior Design graduate with a strong interest in transforming interior spaces and exploring architectural forms.
She is particularly captivated by building facades, the interplay of light and shadow and the underlying philosophies that shape design. Her keen aesthetic sensibility is reflected in her appreciation for the unique beauty found in imperfect shapes and unconventional forms.
Victoria believes that successful design is a careful balance between functionality and artistic expression. She strives to create environments that not only serve practical needs but also evoke emotion, foster connection and inspire creativity. Her approach centres around understanding the needs and stories of those who will inhabit a space, ensuring each design solution is tailored and meaningful.
This project is dedicated to creating innovative, sensory-driven environments that enhance the quality of life for individuals with dementia and cognitive impairments.
The design leverages multisensory activities—engaging sight, sound, touch, smell and taste—to trigger memory recall, encourage mental stimulation and foster emotional well-being.
Each space within the project is thoughtfully tailored to a specific sense, offering residents and visitors immersive experiences that are both engaging and therapeutic.
